: OB repair cleanup

Can someone please assist with the cleanup/repair thing as discussed in the squad-flight on Sunday please?

I looked into the OB bin folder and see an icon for DCS updater, but nothing else. I have also tried to search for both the texts as below, but with no success.

“C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\DCS_updater.exe" cleanup

“C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\DCS_updater.exe" repair

Fixed this by simply copying the desk-top short-cut from the dedi and it performed the job. It also gave me the option -during the clean up- to keep squad-skins etc, which was helpful.

Tried the power shell approach but the procedure didn’t work for me. Glad you got it sorted.

Don't think it probably did anything for me TBH -I had done one ot 2 other recommended changes and I think they did the same thing.

I did notice that it has removed the FR cap that I had put (as recommended) on at 60fps and now there is no limit -can anyone remember how one does this?

Enable Vsync in the game options. This will limit the frame rate to the refresh rate of your monitor. And assuming it is 60Hz, jobs a fish.

It snows occasionally on the high ground but generally it's fine, dry and sunny.  :)
