Good-oh Fusio -can you give your appraisal on the map, if it would perhaps make a good 'battlefield' etc. Might have asked you this question before?!
I always fancied a good 'middle-east' map where we could conduct missions out and away from the big cities, in your typical small village etc. If there's such a thing still out there not flattened...

Just been looking at the Persia map via some YT vids -quite impressed with what I'm seeing -I was put off with DCS insisting on always showing Abu Dhabi and such -for myself I am not really interested in the big glam cities -too much like Nevada in that it doesn't look like a realistic war-zone. What I saw in the outback of Persia map looked pretty decent to me.
Hand is hovering over the buy button whilst it's under $38...

Got the Hormuz map in the end -was forced to by a gang all wielding guns n stuff. Said they'd blow everyone up if I didn't get it -had no choice in the matter.
Just about to fire a Hip up and have a gander at the sand dunes. 8)

I haven’t flown it yet since the addition of the new airbases etc. Was planning on doing a joyride after the flight tonight 😎

Just knocked together the basics on a SoH map to give a mission with all regular AC. Man, I must say the early morning light on the hills is fantastic BTW -early morning starts are wll worthwhile!
I will add some OPFOR soon so that if anyone fancies an ad-hoc on it sometime, we can give it a go.

Doesn’t the server also need to have a copy bought for it though?
Which is where the new dedicated server thing should help when ED gets around to giving it to is - no need for the server to have the maps (or a graphics card).

Especially if you're pondering on the Perisa map -very happy with mine I am -and, thx to Ax, we have it on the dedi already. 8) :-*
