Guys - just an update - myself and Fusion were on the server earlier and experienced some crash issues while in the F14. Seemed ok in the F18 and A10 etc so issue is likely to be when flying the F14.
Might be an issue for Sunday?

Looks like they are aware of it and are investigating. Does seems to be the F-14 that’s suffering the CTD.
Some have also reported not being able to get back into the map after putting a marker down so perhaps be careful with that one too.
I expect we’ll get a hotfix soon but maybe not in time for Sunday.

OK thx for the HU -we'll see how things are looking before the Sunday flight whether to ground the F-14s till fixed.

Doesn't look like the crash effects people that aren't in the F14 tbh. Its just a bit annoying given the time it takes to restart the bloody thing every time!
Mind you if its not fixed its a good opportunity to refresh what we were flying before.... Otherwise its easy to press a button to launch the plane on the Cat when you dont need to... and oh I don't know... roll gently into the sea..... Not that anyone would be daft enough to do that, but you get my drift.

Heatblur have fixed the issue but are waiting on ED to sort out the hotfix - so it could still be days unless ED are willing to play ball...

No issues for me on the sever this evening.
On the bright side - there’s now the option to hide the joystick on the F14 ;)

Good to know you haven't had any issues. Yes, I've hit that key a lot when accessing the comms menu. It's a welcomed addition though.

Big OB update out today -amongst a lot of things this promises to fix a memory leak in MP -so get it installed and hope it fixes stuff. Lot of Tomcat stuff fixed or ammended.

Both myself and Fusion took the Beta for a bit of a test run last night. Had some initial stuttering and some issues with crashes to desktop, but nothing too bad.
One the plus side the F14 cockpit appears a lot sharper and the sonic boom is impressive!!

Hmm -if that's a general finding we perhaps better park the 'cat till we can be sure it isn't an issue?

Finally we get the TGP for the F18.
Mako - I got it working for JDAMS and Laser bombs in the end. It's not too bad to use but it has its quirks.
But you can pick out long distance targets and throw JDAMS from a long way away still.
Might not be quite so useful for the JSOW though.

Yeah I think you will only see those that are not updated.

Ok. Makes sense. I still run the Steam version so I only get the production-type releases.

I’m pretty sure I’ve read you can opt into the beta version in the same way as other steam titles.

DCS 2.5.5.39003 Open Beta very few updates. Mostly concerning the C-101.
Good to see Aviodev continues supporting it, that sends a positive signal that if they manage a new module they will invest into it for a long time.
The C-101 has been out like >=3 years.
I bought it to support the devs.

This last patch was pretty big -it took a little while to do the dedi -which is unusual -so expect it to take a bit of time.

Interesting; with the 2.5.6 DL I had probs but the dedi was fine, with the patch today it was the other way around!
I had to delete some dll files in OB to get it done -all is fine now. :)

You finding a lot of trouble with the Hind as is SG?
It appears that if you've set a profile up for it, it will need checking as they've made some important changes.
