Just had a flit round on the new server with Mako (setting up for flight tomorrow), and in the mission I had running it's raining. Mako said something about how nice the rain looked on his canopy -and I wondered (not seeing it at the time) whether it was something to do with the rain-drop option tick-box in the game options menu.
Indeed it is! I had heard about the rain looking good now but hadn't looked into it -have you?
It appears to have a little effect on FR, but I can confirm it looks pretty special. I flew a Hip and from start-up with droplets running down erratically, as I took-off and transitioned into higher speed, the drops started moving pretty realistically along the glazing until just a blur.
Very impressed!
