Soooo,

Given Fusion's recent purchase it got me thinking...  What do our respective sim pits and rigs look like??

Post your pics and specs here :)  Always interesting to see how we all operate!

So post yours below :)

Think I might win the biggest case competition!

I’ll put a few pics up when the beast is installed.

But my setup is otherwise very average in physical terms. Although I do want to get some monstertech gear and a 10cm extension for my warthog to make things a little more natural vs having the joystick on top of the desk.

System spec: Win10 64bit i7-4790k CPU@ 4.00Ghz  16GB RAM (need to double that ASAP) N Vid Geforce GTX980

Controllers: (2nd hand from mate of Fuse) X52 (bloody impressively reliable) Saitec pedals, TM MFDs and Saitek throttle quadrant. TIR 3 which is also faultless with Track-hat head thingie -far better than clip.

Had the above set-up since early 2015 and only just realised my RAM is 16 not 32 -should I just go for some of the same stuff: Kingston Hyper X pc3 1866Mhz?

Which reminds me, need to install that 9900K and Z390 Mobo at some point. It’ll be interesting if it makes a difference in DCS.

So I’ve heard. My 6700K is currently overclocked to 4.6 GHz. The 9900K has a single core default boost of 5GHz! Hoping to OC all 8 cores to that speed. :)

Big case there Mako!! Nice wall decor too 👍.

Ax - can’t see why you wouldn’t be able to get the 9900 running at 5k. What cooler are you using?

My aging 5930k is stable up from 3.5 to 4.4GHz on a H110 cooler and sits under load no higher than 65c. But it’s gicing me good performance in DCS and hopefully the RTX2080 ti will up the eye-candy to the max on my 1440 monitor.

Fusion, what screen do you have ATM? I’m tempted by an Asus PG279Q.

Edit: Purchased one, looks and runs great!

I think mines the same mate yeah.

1440p @144hz 1ms response time.

It’s a lovely monitor...

But I would love 4K @ 144hz...!

This has a slower response time of 4ms due to the IPS panel. However, it’s factory overclocked to 165Hz!
