Keybpoard Lock
« on: January 20, 2019, 11:27:48 AM »
Gents,

Have an intermitent issue whereby when I enter the cockpit the keyboard stops working - all keys stop working apart from F1, which brings up a Hud screen with either kneeboards or MFD's depending on the plane I'm in.  The Joystick works fine though the throttle imput either work fine, or Yaw the aircraft (!).

Typically I have to come out of the game and restart before it clears.  It opften happens the second time I go into a mission.

Any ideas as it's driving me bananas!?

Mako, are you using macros or HOTAS / controller profiling software at all?

Only the X52 software.... Might try disabling that to see if it makes any difference.

It is really weird.  Never experienced it in MP and from memory I think it might only happen on the Harrier?

Wondering whether it is joystick related tbh

I would certainly try unplugging your X52, then try to replicate.

I know from previous experience I have suffered similar symptoms when using Warthog profiling software.

I don't know if you've resolved this or what the cause is ... but when I have any freeze up now ... be it game /Tir/stick etc ... I just unplug my head phone jack ( in the front of PC) give it a couple of seconds then re-plug ... and bish bosh bash ... sorted.

Thanks gents - think I’ve sorted it (or worked out a solution)...  if I alt-tan out of the game and go back in, it seems to clear it.

Thanks again
