-except what you're seeing here is the CO getting his wounded and hydraulic-less bird down in one piece! Look -no flaps! Gasp at the skill, courage, audaciusness of it!

Yes Arch thats true - but at least I show the ground crew the courtesy of never bringing a damaged plane back for them to fix... All they ever have to do for me is re pack my chute :)

Well taht's true.

Of course that's true Mako, but these days I try and use a bungee cord, although TBH that can get wrapped around one's joystick and that can be 'irritating'...
