Kiltwalk
« on: March 25, 2019, 11:50:53 PM »
On a cold, mirky, wet and miserable day (we're talking Scotland here), one brave squaddie will embark on a 22.6 mile walk, wearing nothing* but a kilt!

Our hero's aim is to raise money for children. This will provide them with a great opportunity to gain valuable life experience and skill sets, including personal growth and team building.

Those are my words, below are his.

'I’m really excited to be taking part in this year’s Kiltwalk in Glasgow. I have been inspired by the work of the Ocean Youth Trust Scotland and the sailing trips they provide to young people. Having had the opportunity to take part in a voyage last year, I have seen the amazing difference this experience can make to a person’s life. Those that take part become more confident, develop skills they never dreamed they had and learn to pull together to work as a team. Please donate so that these amazing adventures under sail can be offered to as many as possible. Thank you.'
