Good session last night - Managed two straight vertical landings on the carrier - then got shot up!

Arch was a very helpful guide in getting me down safely - I also managed a flat spin recovery which was a thoroughly unpleasant experience!

Yeah good work there Mako -the more we fly the better we get (at least that's what my reports back to the air-chief-marshall will say...).

My outrigger dameged Harriet can be seen on deck. That was disappointing as that landing appeared to be good -not damaged an outrigger before, and my next attempt wasn't nearly so neat -that's the annoying thing!

I find that my approaches are still controlled by me, but the final bit is still in control of me!  :o Need to adopt a more reliable final 'plop-down' which will see both pilot and plane in one piece.

Gonna go and do something barmy, and RTFM... ???
