Backfire, a tank named Lee and some moon action
« on: July 16, 2019, 05:54:25 PM »
Here are some builds from the last year I have completed; The Tu-22m3 is old and has been here before but I always wanted to pose it on a typical Soviet base, so added some same scale PAG-14 blocks available and a URAL 'shelter' vehicle.
Next up we have -in commemoration of 50years since Apollo 11- a 1/72 kit of the CSM, LEM and Neil and Buzz doing their moon-walk.
Lastly we see an M3 Lee with US tankers bombing up -I made the ground upon a bought base and added some details including some beautiful brass 1/35 ammo. I 'had' to scratch build a good part of the interior as I wanted some of it visible. They didn't do a kit with the interior when I bought this a year ago but some barsteward brought one out last month...

Kits on the go atm; 1/32 F-104s in Italian service and a 1/48 Su-7 fitter in Egyptian AF markings.
