Finally... able to start DL2.7 at around 16:18 UK time. I won't sit by me PC whilst it chugs away getting it... although I might nod my 'ead round the corner and check it every 5 secs to see when it's done!

Oooh yeah, baby!

There is an issue (as they say it's still WIP) with ambiance under the clouds, which I have only yet seen a problem with full overcasts, but mostly, it's a wow thing for what I've seen so far.

More impressed than I expected, actually.

Had a quick look to see if I can spot anything not mentioned (such as new ground units, triggers and other stuff in ME), but so far, not seen anything.

Really looking forward to having a flight proper, soon.

Been having tremendous fun looking at the new weather -because it ain't just the clouds that different, it's made the conditions much more real looking from what I have seen so far.

I tried in the past to get convincing fog or poor vis and was never happy -looks like I can get much closer to what I was after now.

Anyone fancy a bit of poor weather either this flight or maybe another day soon?

The option to alter the trigger-box shape is very useful too -the circles were quite limiting at times.

I see they've improved the Russian A2A weapons (or some of them, R-27) which will help my lousy A2A attempts recently...
